Truth Equipment is a trade name of Coldwires LLC. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Coldwires LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use truthequipment.com or contact us, what we do with it, and your choices.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, phone number, email, and details about your machine: make, model, year, hours, location, condition, photos, video, loan status, and offers you've received. If you're buying, the machine you want and your budget. Anything you tell us by form, phone, text or email.
- What's collected automatically. Basic technical data our website host logs to run and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. We don't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To reply to you and get offers for your machine, or find the machine you want.
- To arrange inspections, escrow, loan payoffs, paperwork and pickup when a deal moves forward.
- To check ownership and liens, and to prevent fraud.
- To keep the records the law requires, and to improve our pricing and service.
Who we share it with
- Buyers. We share your machine's details and photos with dealers, exporters and other buyers to get you offers. We share your name, contact details, serial number or exact location with a buyer only after you agree to move forward with them.
- Companies that help us run the business. For example our website host, form and spreadsheet tools, email, phone and text messaging providers, escrow, inspectors and transport companies. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect you, us or others, for example to stop fraud.
We don't sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you agree to receive texts, we'll text you about your machine or your request. How often we text depends on your deal. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for the reasons above, and as long as the law requires for tax, accounting and legal records.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you. Email help@truthequipment.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights. We'll honor them as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the bottom of this page.
